Xeriscape Projects

Xeriscaping uses drought-tolerant plants, rock mulch and efficient irrigation to cut outdoor water use. These are low-water landscapes we have built in Fort Collins, Loveland and nearby towns.

About our xeriscapes work

Xeriscape does not have to mean rock and cactus. Yards like these rely on native and adapted plants such as blue grama grass, penstemon, salvia, yucca and dwarf conifers, set in rock or wood mulch and watered by drip lines instead of spray heads. Once established, they need far less water and mowing than a bluegrass lawn.

Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley and other Front Range water providers encourage water-wise yards, and some offer programs or rebates for replacing turf, so check with yours. We can plan a whole-yard conversion or just the hard-to-water strips, slopes and park strips.
